Stadium History

Opened in 2015 on the King Saud University campus in Riyadh, the venue was first known as King Saud University Stadium. Saudi Media Company obtained management rights in 2020, when the stadium was rebranded as Mrsool Park; it became Alawwal Park in 2023 under a sponsorship agreement. It has been Al Nassr’s home since 2020 after also hosting Al Hilal from 2018 to 2020.

The 25,000-capacity natural-grass stadium has hosted major domestic and international events, including Saudi Arabia–Brazil in 2018, the 2019 Supercoppa Italiana, the 2021 Maradona Cup and the 2024 Spanish Super Cup. It is located on the King Saud University campus and is planned for a future redevelopment linked to the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
