Stadium History
Beşiktaş Stadium, known officially as Tüpraş Stadyumu and formerly as Vodafone Park, stands at the historic heart of Istanbul, overlooking the Bosphorus. Opened in 2016 on the site of the legendary İnönü Stadium, its design preserves elements of the original structure while embracing modern architecture and amenities. The venue quickly became a symbol of both the club’s proud tradition and Istanbul’s dynamic spirit, hosting Beşiktaş J.K.’s home matches and major international events, including the UEFA Super Cup in 2019.
With a seating capacity of around 42,590, the stadium features state-of-the-art facilities: all covered grandstands, executive suites, expansive VIP and hospitality areas, and the celebrated lounge “1903.” It offers modern locker rooms, top-notch press and media areas, and a club museum onsite. Accessible by multiple public transport lines and located adjacent to the Dolmabahçe Palace, Beşiktaş Stadium delivers an intense football atmosphere and top-tier comfort, making it a premier destination for fans and visitors in Istanbul.
