Stadium History

On the evening of May 9, 2006, the stadium where Castilla plays was officially inaugurated with a match between Real Madrid and Stade de Reims. The stadium is named after one of the greatest footballers of all time, Alfredo Di Stéfano, and features a statue of ‘The Blond Arrow’ at its entrance.

The statue, created by Pedro Montes, was unveiled on February 17, 2007. It weighs over 400 kilograms, stands over two meters tall, and depicts the celebration of a famous goal scored in the European Cup against Vasas—a moment that will forever be etched in the memory of Real Madrid fans
